PROPAGATION, covering all aspects of creating new plants from various forms of material: soft cuttings such as fuchsias, ripe cuttings of grapevines and roses, root cuttings, and many other ways of plant reproduction you might not have yet come across.
Our day will start with coffee or tea, biscuits and introductions, followed by a talk on the basic methods of propagation, with demonstrations along the way. Suitable for all skill levels!
At 1pm we will break for lunch, which will be homemade soup and crusty bread, with a Ploughman’s lunch. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available throughout the day.
(Please advise in good time if you have any food intolerances)
The afternoon will be your chance to create various different cuttings to take home and grow on. A variety of plant material will be to hand, also aprons, composts, secateurs and gloves
